Last week I had the pleasure of attending the first Growth Summit Conference in Barcelona, hosted by my good friend and collaborator Professor Conor Neil. The event featured a live link to Atlanta for the Jim Collins Growth Conference seminar, followed by a “round table discussion” of local entrepreneurs, top level managers and MBA students from some of Barcelona’s top universities.
The event was professionally organised and focussed on what the key companies and leaders are doing today in order to make sure that that they stay ahead of the curve and prepare for the fabled but very common “black swan” events that shape the landscape of any business cycle.
I am very much a fan of events that enable the participants to engage in measurable learning outcomes and this has been the trend over the last 3 years for events in Barcelona.
We have found that the new element finding its way in our inventive program requests are a need to fully engage with all stakeholders to clearly define, manage and exceed expectations.
Our experience in working in the field of organisational behaviour makes this a perfect platform to create fully bespoke programs based around these types of requests.
This year we have been really encouraged to see an increase in events that have challenged us to combine what we know best about Barcelona with what love about personal development and leadership programs.
