Many people visit Barcelona for the culture, the vibe, the people… the list goes on, yesterday I found another reason for you to come the one of the most beautiful cities in Europe – The fantastic atmosphere on the terraces.

I was meeting with one of our top clients Manuel  Garriga CEO of Imdega S.A and we decided to go for a quiet drink to discuss an up and coming teambuilding event planned for October. Our search took us to The Alaire roof top on the 8th floor of the Condes De Barcelona Hotel Located on Barcelona´s outlandishly trendy Passeig De Gracia.

The terrace was stylishly minimal complete with white sofas and shaded chill out areas. The clientele was a perfect blend of Catalan locals out for an after work “tipple” and international visitors taking in the Barcelona dusk vibe.

The special surprise of the night was a live Jazz duo “Luna I Vila” The local pair crooned their way through a set of classic Jazz hits that were ripe with nostalgic emotion. Set against the backdrop of the Barcelona city skyline this was the perfect setting for our after works drink and creative meeting.

The group played for an hour from 8.30pm – 9.30pm the audience were mesmerized by the beauty of the set, the dulcet tones of the lead singer Clara and the silkly skills of Albert on the guitar( I certainly was, but I am a self confessed Jazz fan!).
